Seminar on Gas & Oil in Lebanon “Challenges & Opportunities”

Sallaum Humanity Foundation organized a seminar in Bekaa region on “Oil & gas in Lebanon” in collaboration with LOGI: Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative & WARD: Welfare Association for Research & Development. The seminar was hosted in Bar Elias public high school, Taalabaya public high school & Kafar Zabad municipality.
LOGI’s executive director Mrs. Diana Kaissy started the seminar by discussing the challenges & opportunities of the Oil & Gas sector in Lebanon & how Lebanon can maximize the economic & social benefits of its oil & gas wealth.
On the other hand, WARD’s president Mr. Oussama Ghneim discussed the working conditions in this sector & the professions available in addition to the importance of vocational & technical education in securing the specialists needed for this sector.
